The Road Commission for Oakland County has announced road work which may cause delays for motorists in the Clarkston area:
? Maybee Road is closed from Clintonville Road to Rohr Road for developer Zerbos Equities to pave the gravel road. The detour route is Clintonville to Clarkston and Baldwin through August 29.
? Andersonville Road between White Lake Road and Curtis Lane is scheduled to be closed through July 30 so Independence Township can install a water main and sanitary sewer line.
During the closure, the detour route will be White Lake Road to Maceday Lake Road to Williams Lake Road to Airport Road to Dixie Highway and vice versa.
‘Canadian National Railroad has completed its repairs to the crossing on Eaton Road in Springfield Township and the road is open to through traffic.
‘Repairs to the Sashabaw Road bridge over I-75 in Independence Township have been completed by MDOT.
? Right of way restoration along Sashabaw Road, I-75 to Maybee Road, in Independence Township is completed.
The Michigan Department of Transportation has listed the following repairs affecting Independence and Springfield Townships on their website:
? Lane closures between exits 98-91 on southbound I-75 from Holly Road to Ortonville Road. The left two lanes will be closed as construction crews make repairs. Traffic will be shifted to the outside shoulder and outside lane. Two lanes will be maintained at all times.
? A temporary traffic signal will be in effect for vehicles using Davisburg Road as work is being done on the Davisburg overpass until August 20.
? Two lanes of northbound traffic on M-15 will be closed as construction crews reconstruct the bridge over I-75, leaving one lane of traffic open in each direction. Ramps to southbound I-75 and northbound I-75 will be closed.
The detour for northbound M-15 to I-75 will be from southbound M-15 to Dixie Highway to I-75. The detour for southbound M-15 to I-75 south will be I-75 north to Dixie Highway (exit 93) to I-75 south on ramp.
