Man dies in back seat of vehicle headed to DTE

A 47-year-old Lincoln Park man suffered what authorities say was a massive heart attack in the back seat of a friend’s car on the way to a concert at DTE Energy Music Theatre Aug. 15 at 7:45 p.m.
Deputies assigned to DTE responded to a medical call in the parking lot. A parking lot attendant performed CPR on the man.
The man was unresponsive when police found him.
Police said the man was travelling to the venue with a couple who were friends of his.
Police said the couple heard the man making noises in the back of the car on the way to the venue, but assumed that he was joking with them.
Police said the man had been complaining of chest pains and numbness in his arm earlier to his girlfriend, they also said there was no sign of foul play and no contraband was found.
