The Oakland County Sheriff’s Department responded to a medical assist with the Orion Township Fire Department after a man was bitten by a dog on July 25.
According to an OCSD report, a Clarkston Road man was attacked by his dog after attempting to prevent it from attacking another dog. His dog, the “aggressor,” bit him in the groin area, severely tearing the tissue there.
At the man’s request, his dog, a “Chow-Chow,” was taken to Animal Control, where it will be quarantined for 14 days for a rabies check. The man was transported to POH by his wife for medical treatment.
