At 6-0 the Goodrich Varsity Boys Tennis Team has a great start to their season.
The boys are very proud of their current record.
‘The season is going wonderful,? said senior Mason Sylvester. ‘We’re undefeated, I don’t think it gets much better than that.?
Coach Rodger Conn has not only been challenging the boys at practice, but he has also been finding teams with a solid tennis program for them to play.
‘This should be one of our best seasons,? said Conn.
Teams from Brandon, Armada, Fenton, Lapeer East and Kearsley are scheduled for matches this year.
‘Our biggest hope and main goal would be playing well enough to compete at regionals.? Next up is Fenton at home 4 p.m., Sept. 15.
