Shepherd — On Sept. 28, Shepherd High School hosted 18 schools and 2,810 High School runners at the Shepherd Bluejay invite.
The Lady Martians continued their dominance this season and finished first of 33 schools, led by Sophomore Alisia Ottinger 18:59 who finish 19th overall; Freshmen Kayla Schellenbarger 19:04 was second for GHS and 21st overall; Senior Kamryn Lauinger 19:30, third for GHS and 33rd overall; Senior Layla Jordan 19:38, fourth for GHS and Sophomore Claire Brown 19:38 finished the team scoring at 39th.
In the Boys Blue Varsity Race the Goodrich boys finished 8th overall of 21 teams with Martian Junior Vincent Pattison 16:19 first of GHS and 5th overall; Senior Cole Winter 17:09 was second for GHS and 19th overall; Senior Trevor Gutteridge 18:23 third for GHS and 61st overall; Junior Gavin Ottinger 18:31 fifth for GHS and 64th overall; Sophomore Jameson Ronzello 19:23 sixth for GHS and 88th overall; Seniors Timmy Stull and Ryan Oberle completed the Goodrich Boys team.
