The Orion Township Board of Trustees accepted the resignation of Renee McLaughlin from the parks and recreation department at their Sept. 19 meeting.
McLaughlin had served as parks and recreation office coordinator. Her last day of work will be Sept. 28.
The board voted to advertise her position, at $13.13 per hour, full-time, for 40 hours a week, plus benefits.
