Metal Muscle FIRST Robotics Team 1506 from Kettering University competed at the State Championships at Saginaw Valley State University on April 11-14 and the World Championship at Cobo Center, Detroit on April 26-28. Metal Muscle includes six students from Brandon High School and 10 other local schools.
“The team performed very well at both events,” said John Wolfert, team mentor. “But, the most important part of the team are the students.”
Brandon High School Senior Tori Bradburn, drive team captain and Thomas Ridge, team captain both received the FIRST Robotics Scholarship from Kettering University. Gabrielle Malson was a finalist at States for the Dean’s List Award, moving on to the World Championships and won the Dean’s List Award at Worlds.
