Add some special meaning to your next visit to Indian Springs Metropark ? drop off a new, unwrapped toy to brighten a child’s Christmas through the Toys for Tots program.
Beginning Nov. 19 through Dec. 4, the Indian Springs Metropark office will serve as a collection point for the program. The park is accepting new, unwrapped toys that have no violent connotations.
Donated toys will be distribute to needy children in Wayne, Oakland, Washtenaw and Macomb counties through local United States Marine Corps Reserve distribution centers.
