Michigan Project KidSight program

Ortonville —  On June 6, the Brandon Township Public Library hosted an Ortonville Lions Club Free Vision Testing.
The Michigan Project KidSight program is designed to identify treatable and preventable causes of vision loss in preschool children ages 6 months to 5 years.
A total of 16 youths attended the event and all passed the eye exam. The Lions have an agreement with a couple of optometrists who provide free examinations and help with lenses.
The Leader Dogs for the Blind also participated in the event.
