Relive the charming dolls of the past by making a sock monkey from the Brandon Library.
Sock monkey kits are a available at the library to make ‘personality plus? treasures.
To date the library has sold over 90 kits, which include Mania contest rules and categories.
Public Relations Director, Zoe Pearson said Monkey Mania is a fund raiser for the Arts Committee for the children’s garden, planned for the library.
‘Who would have guessed,? said Zoe Pearson, public relations director.
‘Everybody has really gotten into this.?
Attend the ‘Monkeying Around Party? and your monkey in a people’s choice contest of the face only a mother could love.
The winner will receive the Top Banana Award of a banana split.
Winners will be on display at the library the last two weeks of February.
Monkey making kits can be purchased at the library for $5.
