Budd and Barbara Lester, of Lakeville, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on September 18, 2004.
Mr. and Mrs. Lester were married in 1954 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Port Huron. They have lived in the Oxford area for 36 years.
Budd Lester, originally from Capac, is retired from Chrysler, the Missile Division, and the Oakland County Sheriff’s Department. Barbara Lester, originally from Port Huron, is retired from St. Joseph’s Hospital in Pontiac. The couple were also co-owner’s of Lester’s Restaurant for 20 years.
Mr. and Mrs. Lester are the loving parents of Steve Lester, Lauri Hoffman, Julie Vittone and Lon Lester. The are the proud grandparents of six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
