Since opening in May 2002, Farlin said the store has received a ‘tremendous amount of positive feedback? from customers and the community.
Farlin said, ‘A lady came through the store one day and said, ‘I’ve never been in a store like this before. My husband’s going to love this? It fits our lifestyle perfectly.??
As an authorized dealer of such well-known quality lines as Orvis, Wild Wings and Marshfield Furniture, Nature’s Den offers a myriad of gift items including dog beds, framed wildlife and nature prints, antler art work, sculptures, lamps, furniture, pillows, jewelry, gourmet dog biscuits, dinnerware, barware, collector’s plates, candle holders, Root and Bullfrog candles, and much, much more
‘It’s not you average gift store,? Farlin said. ‘These are not trinkets. They’re quality, upscale items that appeal to the discriminating wildlife and nature enthusiast.?
‘We carry the full lines of our vendors so we can do custom orders for anyone,? Farlin said. ‘If you see it in the catalog, we can get it for you. Customers can avoid shipping charges by ordering through us.?
New merchandise lines will be featured in the spring, Farlin said. ‘We’ve increased our equestrian gift line,? she said. ‘There are a lot horse lovers shopping the store.?
Nature’s Den also features the work of local artists like Sharon Davis, of Oxford, who creates breath-taking wildlife scenes on clayboard using a technique known as ‘scratch art.?
