New shows on Clarkston TV

Clarkston TV, the internet television station of Sherman Publications, the parent company of The Clarkston News, has been packed full of new shows in the past few weeks.
In addition to feature stories, Clarkston TV also offers weekly shows by Clarkston News editor Phil Custodio and columnist/assistant publisher Don Rush, local shows by business owners and residents from Clarkston and surrounding areas, old-fashioned, hard-to-find television shows, full length movies, and dining and medical guide.
A special section on the online website features Michigan golf courses, lighthouses, parks, schools, dining, travel and webcams from around the state of Michigan.
Check out deals in Clarkston, Ortonville, Lake Orion, Oxford and surrounding areas in the Sherman Publications newspapers as well as The Big Deal, the Advertiser and The Penny Stretcher.

Clarkston TV welcomes the newest addition to the TV team, Ken LaPlace. LaPlace brings a wealth of experience to Clarkston TV with his years of work with public access television and major new organizations.
LaPlace has also worked for media such as ABC, CBS, CNN, ESPN, Spike TV, A & E, The Discovery Channel and Fox TV.
In addition to an award for news photograph earned in 2001, LaPlace also won an Emmy in 2005 from the Michigan Association of Broadcasting for his work on a story about confidential police informants. LaPlace has earned several other prestigious awards as well as Emmy nominations. Stay tuned to shermanpublications.org for all the latest shows.
