New teen services specialist

Brandon Twp.- Kevin Botos has joined the staff of the Brandon Township Library as a teen services specialist.
‘I love it,? Botos, 28, says of his new job. ‘I hope to make a difference in the community, helping kids get their test scores up and getting them hooked on reading.?
Botos, 28, graduated in 2003 from the University of Michigan-Flint with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education, with a major in English and a minor in fine arts. In addition to his part-time position at the library, Botos also works part-time at the Oakland County Children’s Village as a youth specialist and is pursuing a master’s degree in counseling at Oakland University.
