Teresa Faustina Skalitzky was born to Teresa Mary and Jeffrey Skalitzky at 9:48a.m. on Jan. 1, 2007, making her The Clarkston News? New Year’s Baby.
As the winner of the First Baby of 2007 Contest, she was awarded gift certificates and prizes from more than 16 area restaurants and shops.
‘It’s fabulous,? she said. ‘I still can’t believe it.?
Baby Teresa, named after her mother, joins five brothers and sisters, Benjamin, 7, twins Sarah and Samuel, 5, Emma, 3, and Hannah, 2.
‘There’s nothing better ? life is never boring,? her mother said.
‘I think it’s fabulous ? they’re great kids,? said Darlene Brennan, her grandmother.
