Ortonville- A village resident responsible for breaking a window at the Old Mill blamed it on his ‘bad temper? after an argument with his girlfriend.
According to police reports, the man broke the window on the south side of the building with his right elbow at about 2:45 a.m., June 2, setting off an alarm. When Brandon deputies arrived, they saw the man across the street and found a flashlight thrown into the grass. When the man was questioned, he admitted what he had done. He said he would pay for the damage and that he feels bad and wants to make it up. He was issued an appearance ticket for malicious destruction of property and released.
