“That was some pig!!!” shouted Lakeville Elementary Principal Sharon Karpinski after kissing a 6 foot, 3 inch pig, a.k.a. physical education instructor Dave Brown (right). The big event capped off the school’s March is Reading month challenge: Karpinski would kiss a pig if the students read 5,328 books during the month. In the end, the grand total was 15,682 and Karpinski was puckering up Hollywood style. However, that still wasn’t enough to pay off a grand total triple the bet… to make sure everything was fair and square, Karpinski went around the building on Monday smooching with a real little porker (above)!
