The newly elected board members of the Ortonville Chamber of Commerce were sworn in last Tuesday at the group’s monthly luncheon. The new board members are president Bob McArthur, Brandon Fire Chief; vice-president Dr. Mitch Marr, Marr Chiropractic; secretary Laurie Renchik, Raymond James Financial; treasurer Linda Moskal, Oxford Bank; trustee Fred Waybrant, Brandon Township Recreation; trustee Susan Reddy, Creative Memories; and trustee Jane Derry, ReMax.
The Ortonville Chamber of Commerce has changed the format of their monthly general membership meetings to accomodate individuals unable to attend the luncheon meetings. Every other month, an evening meeting will be at MacPhee’s Restaurant & Lounge, 650 S. Ortonville Road. The first evening meeting will be at 7 p.m. on Feb. 3 and will feature guest speaker Tim Palulian, director of the Brandon Township building department. Cost is $7. Networking will begin at 6:30 p.m.
