Oxford Bank on Main Street in Clarkston was robbed by a man with a firearm just before noon on Saturday, March 15.
The man was described as Caucasian, between 25-35 years of age, 5’7”, 155-180lbs, with a medium build. He was wearing a forest green sweater, blue jeans and brown shoes.
When he entered the bank he was wearing a clear plastic smiley face mask and was armed with a large automatic rifle.
He told all the employees to get on the ground and told them not to look at him. He then pushed plastic Ziplock bags through teller windows and told the tellers to empty their cash drawers. They complied.
He fled, heading in a south westerly direction from the rear of the bank.
The bank’s surveillance video was retrieved and viewed by the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
