The weather held out and the crowd had a great time at last Saturday’s Celebrate Oxford.
‘This year’s Celebrate Oxford went really well. From what people are saying, it seems more people came than usual,? said Oxford Downtown Development Authority Director, Carolyn Bennett.
Bennett is unsure of how many people actually attended, but she does know there was a great turn out.
In Bennett’s opinion, the Taste of Oxford in Centennial Park and the Kids Central station were some of the best activities.
The Oxford/Orion FISH food drive was also a major success.
‘I was afraid that with all the other excitement that people would forget about the can drive, but that didn’t seem to be a problem,? said Bennett.
Bennett would like to thank everyone that helped with this event.
‘I could never thank everyone enough for putting together such a great event,? she said.
