Hockey Hall of Famer and former Red Wing Ted Lindsay (center right) attended the Oxford Women’s Club’s 3rd Annual Beer and Wine Tasting Sunday at Addison Oaks. During the event, the club raffled off a Red Wing fan’s dream package which included a commemorative hockey stick, puck and 8×10 photo, all autographed and donated by Lindsay, plus four tickets to the Hockey Hall of Fame in Toronto. Tom and Ruth Bota, of Oxford, won it all. The tasting and raffle raised a total of $3,149 for the club’s scholarship fund. Lindsay’s wife, Joanne (far left), is a former Oxford resident and was a member of the Women’s Club for about 15 years, serving as president in 1975-76.
