Oxford Lady LAX brings season to an end

The Oxford High School girls lacrosse team brough their 2012 season to a close. On May 24, in a playoff game against Cranbrook, the Oxford girls lacrosse lost decisively, 22-1. Emma Kimmel was the lone scorer for the lady Wildcats.
Coach Andrew Bausack said that ‘Cranbrook was a monster. They were the best team we have played this year and one of the best in the state.?
Without regret, Bausack added, ‘we are a young program and we strive to become a team like Cranbrook.?
Earlier, in the last regular season game of the year, the OHS ladies lacrossers ran up against another fierce squad when they hosted Lake Orion on May 21. OHS fell 17-7 to the visiting lady Dragons.
Emma Kimmel led with four goals, while Riley Hayes, Jordan Pieczynski, and Kayce Calcaterra contributed a goal each.
