The township board approved a recommendation from their engineers last Monday, awarding the contract for the Friendship Park Multipurpose Field to Glencorp, Inc.
Work on the field is to include the ‘clean up? aspect, which involves the removal of debris previously mentioned in The Review.
The Glencorp, Inc. bid was $387,357.50 for the total project.
In a related issue, an internal investigation on the donated fill, to be completed by Supervisor Jerry Dywasuk, will last another 30 days.
Dywasuk has referred the matter to attorney Jerry Fischer, who needed more time to complete interviews.
