American Revolutionary War Patriot Solomon Jones will be honored Aug. 6 at 2 p.m. at a rededication ceremony in the Davisburg Cemetery. The ceremony is held by the Sons of the American Revolution.
Mr. Jones enlisted into Revolutionary Service in 1775. He came to Groveland Township in 1843 to live with his son, Jesse, until his death in 1865 at 105 years old.
