Brandon Twp.- The deadline is Tuesday to turn in a petition to seek a position on the township board.
Residents 18 or older who are registered voters in the township are eligible to seek office. Petitions with a minimum of 20 signatures of registered township voters (maximum of 50 signatures) are needed for candidates to be placed on the August primary ballot. The petitions must be turned in by 4 p.m., May 13 at the township clerk’s office, 395 Mill St.
All positions on the board (supervisor, clerk, treasurer and four trustees) are up for election.
