Pine Tree girls learn what it means to R.O.L.L.

On Thursday, November 20 two groups of young women came together for a fun and empowering meeting at Pine Tree Elementary. Pine Tree’s R.O.L.L. Club welcomed the JV Cheerleaders from Lake Orion High School and learned not only cheers, but also the importance of being good role models in the community.
R.O.L.L. Club (Responsible, Outstanding Leading Ladies) is an afterschool club for teacher recommended girls in 3rd, 4th and 5th grades. Girls participate in service-learning projects, listen to guest speakers and participate in activities that are important to the development of young women. It is led by Summer Muller and Jennifer Nash. The LOHS Junior Varsity cheerleaders are led by Coach Tina Bambard.
