Players to stage ‘Cover of Life?

The Clarkston Village Players will present ‘The Cover of Life? by R.T. Robinson.
Three war brides move in with their mother-in-law in rural Louisiana in 1943. Life magazine wants to put them on their cover, and assigns Kate Miller to the story. Miller doesn’t want to do a ‘women’s? story, but her urban attitude changes as she comes face to face with her powerlessness in a man’s world.
Show dates are May 2, 3, 9, 10, 11, 15, 16 and 17. Friday and Saturday, performances begin at 8 p.m., Thursday performances begin at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday performances begin at 2 p.m.
All performances will be at the Depot Theater, 4861 White Lake Road.
