Ruined starter
On Dec. 3 Groveland Township troopers responded to a complaint of damage to a vehicle’s ignition. Along with the car damage, mailboxes were also destroyed in the 12,000 block of Dixie Highway. The vehicle is described as a white 1987 Oldsmobile Calais four-door sedan.
Snowed the board
On Dec. 5 a 20-year-old Holly man admitted to larceny of a snowboard from Mt. Holly in Groveland Township. The subject was assigned a Clarkston district court date.
Domestic assault arrest
On Dec. 6 Groveland Township troopers stopped a 33-year-old White Lake man driving on North Dixie Highway near Grange Hall Road for vision obstruction, and discovered the driver has an outstanding warrant for misdemeanor domestic assault.
The driver was released after posting $100 on the warrant.
Montrose arrest
On Dec. 9 Groveland Township troopers stopped a 26-year-old Montrose man who was driving erratically on northbound I-75 near Grange Hall Road. The man was arrested for driving under the influence of liquor.
Rutting neighbors
On Dec. 12 someone drove all over the lawn of a Ramsey Road home. The resident said this is not the first time someone has rutted his lawn and has an idea of who is doing it.
Injured deer
On Dec 13 deputies euthenized a deer that was injured on Cook Trail.
On Dec. 14 deputies assisted the Brandon Fire Department with a fire on Patterson Avenue. The residents found the fire on the outside of the house when they returned home from a Christmas party. They managed to extinguish the fire before the department arrived. The cause was of the fire was determined to be Christmas lights resting on the wood siding of the home.
Mt. Holly thieves
On Dec. 14 At 12:30 p.m., Groveland Township troopers responded to a report of a snowboard taken from Mt. Holly. The snowboard, belonging to a Flushing victim, is described as a black and orange Burton Cruizer with scratches near the top, valued at approximately $400.
Watch your board
On Dec. 15 Groveland Township troopers responded to a report of a snowboard taken from Mt. Holly. The snowboard, belonging to a Flint victim, is described as a black Palmer with red and black Rossingnel bindings, valued at approximately $600.
Leave the makeup
On December 15 a Gallagher Court resident reported someone had stolen a cell phone, woman’s makeup, clothes, and some change from his truck which was parked in his driveway.

Dec. 3:
