Effective June 30, Amy Murray is terminating her contract with the Polly Ann Trail Management Council as Trail Manager.
The decision to leave the position was motivated by ‘urgent family responsibilities,? according to her May 29 letter of resignation.
‘I regret leaving a stimulating and rewarding job,? she wrote. ‘If council wishes, while securing a new Trail Manager, I will complete planning and setup for seasonal special events as a volunteer.?
‘One advantage to bringing on a new manager during this time frame is that he/she will have the benefit of a turnover during the ‘hands-on? season and will be well prepared to make all the arrangements for the 2005 season,? Murray wrote. ‘I will be available to facilitate the transition with introductions and a review of duties and strategies as much as possible.?
