Synopsis for publication of ordinance revisions that were introduced at the July 1, 2019 Brandon Township Board of Trustee meeting:
The following were introduced and accepted for a first reading.
Zoning Ordinance Amendments:
Chapter 46, Article III, Section 46-204 (b) (3) Rural Estate District of the Zoning Ordinance – to be revised to read as follows: State licensed residential facilities restricted to structures constructed for residential purposes that are licensed by the state under the adult foster care facility licensing act, 1979 PA 218, MCL 400.701 to 400.737, or 1973 PA 116, MCL 722.111 to 722.128, and provide residential services for 6 or fewer individuals under 24-hour supervision or care.
Chapter 46, Article III, Section 46-205 (b) (2) Single Family Residential (R1A & R1-B) of the Zoning Ordinance – to be revised to read as follows: State licensed residential facilities restricted to structures constructed for residential purposes that are licensed by the state under the adult foster care facility licensing act, 1979 PA 218, MCL 400.701 to 400.737, or 1973 PA 116, MCL 722.111 to 722.128, and provide residential services for 6 or fewer individuals under 24-hour supervision or care.
Adopted at July 1, 2019 Brandon Township Board of Trustee meeting.
Effective: July 29, 2019
