GROVELAND TOWNSHIP

BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS OPEN MEETINGS ACT RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, the By-Laws of the Groveland Township Board of Zoning Appeals provide for the scheduling, when applied for, of the regular Board of Zoning Appeals Meetings for the second Tuesday of each month; and

WHEREAS, the State of Michigan has enacted the Open Meetings Act, which requires the specific designation of the dates, time and places of all regular meetings of the Groveland Township Board, and

WHEREAS it is the desire of the Groveland Township Board to conduct all of its business in an open forum, in compliance with said act; and

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Groveland Township Board of Zoning Appeals  will hold its regular meeting, when applied for, on the second Tuesday of every month of the calendar year, beginning, January 14, 2020 and ending on December 8, 2020.

The following are dates of the regularly scheduled meeting that will begin at 7:00 p.m. and will be held at the Township Hall, 4695 Grange Hall Road, Holly, MI 48442:

January 14, 2020

February 11, 2020

March 11, 2020 (Wednesday)

April 14, 2020

May 12, 2020

June 9, 2020

July 14, 2020

August 11, 2020

September 8, 2020

October 14, 2020 (Wednesday)

November 10, 2020

December 8, 2020

AND, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a copy of this Notice of Meeting Dates will be published in the Citizen and Tri-County Times newspapers and posted at the Township Hall.
