Quilts donated to Problem Pregnancy Center

The ‘Quilters For Life? brought their hand-sewn quilts before the congregation at the Oxford Free Methodist Church on Sunday morning for prayer.
Together the women and the congregation prayed that God would demonstrate His love to the recipients of these quilts.
‘Quilters for Life? is a quilting ministry committed to demonstrating God’s love through prayer and quilting.
While the quilts we make are beautiful, the heart of this ministry is prayer.
These quilts will be donated to the Problem Pregnancy Center in Oxford.
These women hand sew crib-sized quilts to encourage women to choose life.
From left to right in the above photo are Debbie Johnson, Gladys Lohnes, Joan Tailford, Geneva Seeds, Terri Wenzel, and Carla Lambertson.
Barb Fry and Gertie Stewart have also been active participants but are not pictured. Other women in the congregation have helped.
You are invited to join us for quilting.
You need no experience in quilting to come. We will teach you how to quilt.
Women with varied levels of experience work together.
Beginners work on simple projects until they feel ready to do more.
Experienced quilters work together and are available to teach and encourage others.
If you prefer, you can make your own quilt from start to finish. However, all quilts will be donated.
This group meets the first and third Wednesday of each month from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM.
We meet at the Free Methodist Church in Oxford, 790 South Lapeer Road.
