Ray ‘Burt? Armstrong of Lakeland, Florida died May 2.
He was 82.
Burt served as a tank commander in WW II in Europe and retired after 30 years of service from Auto Transport.
He is survived by loving wife Lottie; sons Dennis (Sue) of St. Louis, Mo. and David of Clarkston; brothers Donald of Waterford and David of Sheridan, Wyo., sister Eunice (John) Patton of Waterford; four grandchildren, Kimberly, Nichole (Dan) Disosky, Tara and Amy; and many nieces and nephews. He also leaves a second loving family, Linda and Henry Miazza of Travaris, Fla., Jimmy and Mishka Novak of Zephryhills, Fla., and three grandchildren, John, Scott and Michele.
Burt was preceded in death by his first wife, Beatrice ‘Bea? Beckman, and brothers Bob & Ron.
A funeral services was planned for May 5 at the Sherman Wilk Funeral Home in Ortonville, Rev. Tigg Vanaman officiating. Interment in Ortonville Cemetery. Memorial donations may be given to the Alzheimer’s Foundation.
