Dear Editor,
My name is Shirley Scramlin and I am the Groveland Township treasurer. As you may or may not be aware, after 24 years in office, I will be retiring in November.
With the township’s best interest in mind, I would like to endorse Robert Renchik as a write-in candidate for treasurer of Groveland Township. He has had many years of experience in the financial field, which is very important. He is a man of honesty and integrity, also an important requirement for treasurer, as he will be handling the residents? money and the township’s investments.
Renchik holds many of the beliefs I feel are important for Groveland Township’s future: not raising taxes, promoting conscientious spending, stopping any proposed landfill in the township and keeping our township environmentally sound.
Please consider voting for Robert Renchik as a write-in candidate for Groveland Township treasurer on Nov. 4.
