The Road Commission for Oakland County has announced both ongoing and new road construction projects affecting the Clarkston area:
? Allen Road is closed between Cranberry Lake Road and Hubbard Road until Oct. 29 to allow developer Robert Kraus Inc. to install water and sewer lines.
The detour route is Cranberry Lake to M-15 to Hubbard and back to Allen, and vice versa.
? The closing of Waldon Road, both east and west of Sashabaw, has been extended until approximately the end of October.
RCOC said the east side is closed to allow for bridge repair on the nearby Waldon bridge over I-75. The west side closing is part of the ongoing Sashabaw Road boulevard project, which officials say is expected to be complete by mid-November.
? Holcomb Road is closed to allow the Michigan Department of Transportation to make repairs to the bridge over I-75.
The closing is expected to continue until approximately Nov. 22. A detour route includes Washington Road, M-15, Cranberry Lake Road and Allen Road, and vice versa.`
? Maybee Road is closed between Clintonville and Baldwin roads to allow Eagle Ridge, LLC to pave it to provide better access to its Eagle Ridge subdivision.
The closing is expected to continue until approximately Nov. 15. A detour route includes Clintonville, Waldon and Baldwin roads.
