Robbery suspect sketch released

The Oakland County Sheriff’s Department is searching for information about an armed robbery suspect who struck the Oxford Township CVS Pharmacy Friday, Feb. 7, shortly after 10 p.m.
Armed with what was reported to be a small caliber, semi-automatic handgun, the suspect allegedly stole approximately $4,000 in cash from the 1430 S. Lapeer store (in the Oxford Mills strip-mall) shortly after it closed.
Sheriff’s investigators said it’s believed the suspect is responsible for the armed robberies of CVS stores in Marysville in St. Clair County, Richmond in Macomb County and Brownstown Township in Wayne County.
It’s also believed the suspect perpetrated the armed robbery of a CVS store in Macomb County’s Clinton Township on Saturday, Feb. 15, according to Sheriff’s Detective John Robertson.
“From the description, it’s the same guy,” he said.
Robertson said the suspect is considered armed and dangerous as he reportedly threatened to shoot the CVS manager during the Oxford robbery.
The suspect is described as a light-skinned black male in his late-20s or early-30s, approximately 5-foot, 8 or 9 inches in height with an athletic build, puffy cheeks, clean shaven, wearing no glasses and possessing no visible markings or scars.
Witnesses at the Oxford CVS robbery described him as wearing a dark turtleneck shirt with long sleeves, dark pants, dark knit cap and dark knit gloves. The suspect was not wearing a coat, witnesses said.
Anyone with any information about the robbery or the suspect should call Sheriff’s Detective John Robertson of the Oxford Township substation at (248) 969-0369 or (248) 969-3077.
