This time of year Santa Claus and his elves are pretty busy up at the North Pole making toys, so four Oxford High School art students decided to lend the big guy a hand by giving his famous sleigh a fresh coat of paint.
Everyone in Oxford will be able to see the fruits of their labor when Santa and Mrs. Claus roll through town during the annual Christmas parade Saturday, Dec. 6. ? CJC
Santa’s little helpers
The Orion Township Library got some help from little hands in decorating their two Christmas trees, as they recently hosted a Trim-a-Tree party for children at the library on Joslyn Road.
The kids were treated to some holiday stories, snacks and designed their own ornament to take home. They helped the library staff decorate two trees, one in the children’s area, and one located in the library’s periodicals section.
