Brandon Twp.- The school board elected officers for 2009 during their Jan. 12 meeting.
School board president is Beth Nuccio; vice-president is D’Anna Keeble; Greg Allar is secretary and Jamie Cowan, current executive director of fiscal affairs for the Brandon School District, was named treasurer.
The school board, which besides Nuccio, Keeble, and Allar also includes Debbie Brady, Luke Frye, Debbie Schummer, and Diane Wiley, voted Monday to receive zero compensation this year. Previously, boardmembers have been paid $300 annually for their service, but because of the current economy and budget, will accept no payment this year.
