Clarkston school officials got a call last week from state Rep. Eileen Kowall, asking for a list of projects federal stimulus money could fund.
They didn’t have much time to think about it ? deadline was this past Saturday.
‘We were asked for project descriptions,? said Anita Banach, director of marketing. ‘There’s no money yet.?
Superintendent Dr. Al Roberts and department heads got together to assemble a list of ideas for early childhood, Title I, technology, math, science, infrastructure, and other programs.
Work on the stimulus bill continues, but could include up to $1.4 billion for Michigan schools, according to news reports.
