Science shows speedy freezing temp

Samantha Moyet, sixth grader at Sashabaw Middle School and the daughter of Jesse and Sherri Moyet, saw a frozen shirt experiment on the news she figured she could do at her home on Pine Knob Road.
She ran to her closet and grabbed her Straight Outta Clarkston shirt, put it under water and then braved the bitter cold.
“It was at sunset the night of Feb. 19, our thermometer read -8.5 and it took only three minutes for her shirt to freeze solid,” Jesse said. “She was excited that her experiment worked. Science at it’s finest!”
