Dear editor:
While hunting the state land in Ortonville near Hadley on Fox Lake Road last Sunday, I got stuck in the snow and needed help getting my truck out. A group of Boy Scouts that were hiking in the area stopped to help push me out but were unable to. They waited until a truck came along and pulled me out before they left. After hunting, when I returned an hour later, I noticed a really nice walking stick in the snow near my truck. I would like to thank them and return it to them because of their good deed in trying to help me.
