While the Oxford Veterans Memorial Civic Center (28 N. Washington St.) continues to be restored following a Feb. 1 flood, the local senior citizens who met there for various recreational activities have found temporary homes elsewhere in the township.
On Mondays, they meet at Hope Senior Apartments (210 W. Drahner Rd.) to play pinochle from 1-3 p.m.
The apartment complex hosts the seniors again on on Thursdays as they play euchre from 1-3 p.m.
On Wednesdays, the seniors head over to St. Mary’s Retreat House (775 W. Drahner Rd.) to play bingo from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
