A handful of guns were recovered from a home on Jamm Road, after the homeowner allegedly fired two shots at his neighbor’s two dogs.
According to an Oakland County Sheriff’s Department report, the dogs had jumped the fence and were defecating on the property of the 39-year-old resident.
The man fired in the direction of the dogs and the dogs quickly returned home.
Deputies arrived on the scene a short time later and asked to search the man’s home for the gun.
In their search, they recovered four long guns and a pistol. Police also uncovered a drug scale and a glass jar full of marijuana seeds.
The man was arrested for attempted cruelty to animals, reckless discharge of a firearm and marijuana use/possession.
