The Lake Orion boys? swim squad sent six members to the state finals at Oakland University earlier this month. Pictured (top from left) are Peter Slavin and Petar Simic, along with (bottom from left) Darryn Horvath, David Kullmann, Kyle Kibbe and Justin Davis. The team of Simic, Slavin, Kullmann and Kibbe (on which Horvath was an alternate) placed 19th in the 200-free preliminaries, narrowly missing out on the finals. Davis, a diver, just missed qualifying for the final round as well. Simic also swam in the 100-breast prelim.
