Skiers qualify for state finals

Both ski teams finished in third in the MHSAA Regionals, qualifying them to go to the state finals.
During the Giant Slalom, Kelly Peters led the skiers, placing in first at a time of :36.50.
Analicia Honkanen took the second spot. Olivia Dunn was the third top racer for Clarkston, finishing in third place.
Honkanen also took second during the Slalom, Peters in third, and Dunn finished in 14th.
Grant Huber led the boys during the Giant Slalom at eighth place, finishing his race in :37.09.
Brent VanItallie took fourth. Lance Holsbeke, Alex McIntosh and Nick Kellogg rounded off the top 20.
Vanitallie led the team during the Slalom and finish in seventh.
Nathan Rogers finished in 19th, for the second fastest racer for Clarkston.
The teams competed in the SEMSL at Mount Holly on Tuesday and take on the state finals next Monday at Boyne Mountain.
