Snow record is broken ? now go away!

Only in Michigan can the temperature exceed 70 degrees on Sunday and by Tuesday morning, there’s snow on the ground.
Spring may be officially here according to the calendar, but Old Man Winter got in one last lick as he dumped about 2-3 inches of snow on the Oxford area beginning Monday night and into Tuesday morning.
The good news ? if you can call it that ? is this snowfall helped make the 2013-14 winter the snowiest on record for the Detroit area.
All together now ? ‘Yay??

This surpasses the previous record of 93.6 inches set back during the 1880-81 season.

The Flint area also broke its snow record.
The 2013-14 winter has recorded 83.9 inches of snowfall, surpassing the 82.9-inch record set during the 1974-75 season.
