Snowmobile safety

Instructors from Michigan Safety Classes will teach snowmobilers to be safe and responsible on the trail, 6-9 p.m., Jan. 24 and 26, at Hart Community Center in Davisburg.
Course topics include snowmobile history, safe snowmobile handling, laws and regulations, personal preparedness, survival skills need in an emergency. Participants must attend both days and successfully pass the test to receive the Snowmobile Safety Certificate from the Michigan DNR. Those 12 ? 17 years of age are required by law to have a Snowmobile Safety Certificate.
The class is for those 8 and up. Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Fee is $20/resident, $25/non-resident.
