I find it very interesting that Patricia Wartella, Goodrich Village councilwoman, and Diana Fredricks use almost the exact same quotes, referring to ‘taxation without representation,? referring to the current village council issues and reason for the recall.
I am wondering who is the puppetmaster behind the scenes working the strings?
In the short time that I have lived in Goodrich, this is the second recall attempt that has excluded Wartella. I feel she has an ulterior motive for the village, and it is evident during the village council meetings and in the recall attempts. At the council meetings I have attended, she is forever the antagonist and often sits with her arms crossed and often gives dirty looks to all involved. I have yet to witness her actually work with the other members of the council. Perhaps she should face a recall for not working with her fellow councilmembers…
I should also point out that ‘taxation without representation? is not the correct phrase she should be shouting. Perhaps she would be well served in reading what ‘taxation without representation? actually is before she starts comparing it to what she feels is the current situation. I will take her advice, however, and start attending more village council meetings and question her on why she has such a hard time working with others.
