Madison (Broecker) Chind, 4, was diagnosed in July with neuroblastoma, a form of cancer occurring in infants and children.
She recently began her fifth round of chemotherapy at Children’s Hospital in Detroit and is responding well to treatment but has a long road ahead.
A spaghetti dinner fundraiser and silent auction is planned to help Madison’s mother, Jamie, purchase a dependable vehicle to drive to appointments in Detroit this winter. The dinner will be from 4:30 p.m.-7 p.m., Dec. 10, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 200 N. Cedar St., Imlay City, MI 48444. Cost is $8 for ages 11 and up; $4 ages 5-10; and free for those under 5.
