The township board will host a special meeting tonight (June 13) to discuss the Human Resources position/function within the township.
This meeting, called by the trustees, comes on the heels of not extending the current contract of Assistant to the Supervisor Jill Verros, who previously served in an HR capacity for the township.
Verros filed a lawsuit against the township, clerk and treasurer on June 1. Clerk Jill Bastian said the board is still deciding how to proceed with that matter.
The HR meeting will be held at 7 p.m. at Township Hall.
